Bupa Care Services Annual Facility Awards

Bupa Care Services' Facility Awards are presented at the Group's annual conference gala dinner. The two awards - the Facility of the Year and the Continuous Improvement Award acknowledges the overall performance of a team at a particular facility.

In 2008, Bupa Cardiff in New South Wales was awarded the Facility of the Year. The team at this facility exceeded expectations in their commitment to Bupa Care Services' Vision and Values and for achieving excellence in service and care.

Bupa Edithvale in Victoria received the Continuous Improvement Award in 2008 for demonstrating continuous improvement and innovation linked to Bupa's Vision and Values.

External Awards
5 Star Food Safety Award Bupa Donvale was recognised by Manningham City Council as a leader in food safety in 2006. The facility was awarded the 5 Star Award for their contribution to implementing and maintaining food safety practices.

Merit Certificate, Aged Care Standard and Accreditation Agency Bupa Bellarine received the Merit Certificate for the third time in 2008. This award recognises the high level of involvement and feedback from residents and family in decision making across the facility, encouraging a sense of purpose, belonging and ownership. Bupa Bellarine previously recieved Merit Awards, in 2002 and 2005.
